By accessing or using CLI-Games ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CLI-Games is a web-based terminal gaming platform that provides ASCII-based games playable through a command-line interface. The Service includes both the website and any associated mobile applications.

3. User Accounts

• You may use the Service without an account, but some features require registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• One account per person; creating multiple accounts may result in termination
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to gain unfair advantages in games
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Impersonate other users or staff
• Upload or transmit malicious code
• Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to others

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by CLI-Games and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service (such as custom game saves), but grant us a license to store and display that content as part of providing the Service.

6. Leaderboards and Competitions

• Scores must be achieved through legitimate gameplay
• We reserve the right to remove scores obtained through cheating or exploitation
• Decisions regarding leaderboard disputes are final
• Leaderboard standings may be reset periodically

7. Donations and Subscriptions

If you choose to support CLI-Games through donations or subscriptions:

• All payments are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law
• Supporter benefits are subject to change with reasonable notice
• We reserve the right to terminate supporter status for terms violations

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLI-GAMES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CLI-Games operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
