How to play

You are the teal fighter. Clear each round by knocking rivals out or off the roof. Ring-outs score more; quick consecutive knockouts multiply the reward. Pushing a rival into a crate adds damage. Yellow shields block ordinary front punches: kick to break the guard. Horned opponents charge along the red line: step or dodge sideways and let them run off the edge. Their recovery is your opening. The fourth round has a champion. Dodge just before an attack lands to prepare a strong counter. Strike flying bottles to send them back. Each new round restores two hearts and waits for you to begin. Watch the roof edges: enemy knockback can cost you two hearts.

Scores are local practice. There is no connected global leaderboard or multiplayer service.

Write your own approach

Launch with --script or type script to open your saved Bash workspace. Copy policy.sh, edit with nano, run chmod +x on your copy, then execute it. fixtures selects repeatable practice; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels. gif, replay and receipt export local practice evidence. Your saved files survive re-entry. RELEASE-GUIDE.txt carries the current reference without overwriting an older README you may have edited.

Try scripts try knockabout-starter in a disposable practice workspace. To adapt the example, clone the reviewed repository in the CLI-Games terminal:

Use an existing clone if you already have it. After leaving the game, return to the example directory to record your edits:

Keep LICENSE.txt and attribution when sharing. Cloning never runs a program or replaces edits.
