Waterfall
Aim once. Enjoy the ricochets. Clear a path.
Waterfall
A bright droplet, a field of glass pegs, and one good angle. Slide the spout along the rail, choose power and aim, and watch a shot bounce through the garden. Every peg counts toward the displayed clear target. Struck pegs flash and dissolve, opening fresh routes for the next shot.
Eight balls to start; gardens continue without a level limit. Each garden has exactly one ball-plus peg. Clear it by contact or blast to add one ball to the tank. Clearing a garden carries the remaining balls forward without an automatic refill. The run ends after the last ball drains. A missed angle costs a drop; retry is immediate. Saved Bash scripts use the very same shot commands, with visible peg coordinates and repeatable gardens.
Three-ring pegs add two droplets. Bomb pegs clear nearby pegs and reverse the striking ball. Shield pegs make all remaining pegs invulnerable for two seconds of the shot. Question marks reveal one of these effects on contact.
First moves
Start with a dense cluster: each ricochet can reach another peg.
Move the spout as well as changing the angle. A fresh entry opens a different route.
The guide stops at the first peg. The rest is the bounce.
All pegs count. You need the displayed total, not a special color.
Run and score
Each peg scores 100 plus 25 per earlier hit in that shot, capped at 300 per peg. A cleared garden adds 1000 plus 100 per unused drop. This game is local practice; its scores do not enter the historical cascade leaderboard.
Write your own approach
Launch waterfall --script, then run ./shots-v3.sh. Copy it to a new file before editing. The same commands drive manual and programmed play.
Type script to open the saved-script workspace, or launch with --script. Copy the supplied starter with cp, edit it with nano, then use chmod +x to make your copy executable. Run it with ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects a repeatable layout; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels a running script. gif and receipt export local practice evidence. Your saved files survive re-entry. These runs do not submit ranked scores.
