Cinderwake

Your lantern fires automatically. Move through a two-minute swarm, collect fallen cyan embers and grow a build from six gifts. Cinder fan adds bolts, Quick fuse fires faster, Halo cuts nearby enemies, Thunder blasts clusters, Long reach gathers embers and Second wind keeps you alive.

Gift choices never pause the fight. A fixed tray shows three distinct symbols; the highlighted gift equips after eight seconds. Choose another with 1, 2 or 3, take it immediately with Space, or cycle the automatic choice with X. Survive until dawn to win; the result screen shows your score and survival time.

First moves

Arrows or WASD to move. Your lantern aims and fires automatically.

Follow fallen cyan embers, but leave room to escape the growing swarm.

Combine Cinder fan with Quick fuse, or collect near your Halo. Each gift caps at four ranks.

Keep moving during gifts. N to play again after the run.

Run and score

Defeating a mote or runner earns 10 points; a brute earns 50. Collecting an ember earns 5. Surviving 120 seconds adds 10 points per remaining health. The run ends when health reaches zero or dawn arrives.

Write your own approach

Launch with --script or type script to open your saved Bash workspace. Copy policy.sh, edit with nano, run chmod +x on your copy, then execute ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects three repeatable runs; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels. gif, replay and receipt export local practice evidence. Saved files survive re-entry. These games do not submit ranked scores.

Follow embers and prioritize a weapon combination instead of circling blindly.

The versioned library copy is [email protected]. Install it with scripts install cinderwake-starter my-cinderwake, then edit your copy. ORIGIN.json and LICENSE.txt preserve its version, source and credit. scripts try cinderwake-starter runs an isolated trial. The existing Script Library and forge review gates govern publishing and credit for improvements.
