Glint

Swap neighboring gems to match three. Four in a row makes a stripe, five makes a star, and a crossing makes a burst. Match specials again to trigger them, combine two specials, or swap a star with a gem to clear that shape.

Rejected swaps bounce back with a red cross and spend no move. Successful matches shatter, fall and cascade with increasing multipliers. Clear three tray targets in twenty moves each; the final tray awards a bonus for moves left.

First moves

Arrows to move the cursor. Space then an arrow to swap. Space again cancels.

A swap must make a match, involve a star or combine two specials. Rejection costs no move.

Run and score

Each cleared gem earns 10 points times the cascade multiplier. Tray targets are 650, 850 and 1,100, with 20 moves per tray. Completing the third tray adds 50 points per remaining move. Running out of moves before the target ends the run.

Write your own approach

Launch with --script or type script to open your saved Bash workspace. Copy policy.sh, edit with nano, run chmod +x on your copy, then execute ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects three repeatable runs; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels. gif, replay and receipt export local practice evidence. Saved files survive re-entry. These games do not submit ranked scores.

Choose swaps that create specials and set up cascades instead of taking the first legal pair.

ORIGIN.json and LICENSE.txt preserve its version, source and credit. scripts try glint-starter runs an isolated trial.
