Hairpin
Race from behind the kart through Copper coast, Quarry pass or Night ribbon. Read the next bend, brake to recover grip, pass three rivals and choose when to spend three boosts. Gravel slows the kart while you are outside the curbs.
Finish three laps before the hundred-second clock expires. Lap banners compare with your best lap of this race. Finish first for Gold, second for Silver or third for Bronze. Choose another course and try a better line.
First moves
Space to start; Space again spends a boost.
Steering has momentum. Brake before a tight bend, then accelerate out.
C to choose a course before starting. N to play again.
The starter follows a conservative line. Improve its throttle and boost timing.
Run and score
Three laps end the race immediately. The score combines remaining time, finishing position and an off-road penalty. Medals and best laps describe this run; records are not saved between sessions.
Write your own approach
Launch hairpin --script, then run ./race-v3.sh. Copy it to a new file before editing. The same commands drive manual and programmed play.
Type script to open the saved-script workspace, or launch with --script. Copy the supplied starter with cp, edit it with nano, then use chmod +x to make your copy executable. Run it with ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects a repeatable layout; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels a running script. gif and receipt export local practice evidence. Your saved files survive re-entry. These runs do not submit ranked scores.
