Packetguard
Three roads. Five waves. Hold the gate.
Packetguard
Hold five waves on one of three winding roads. Place fast Arrow towers, splash Cannons and slowing Frost towers, then spend the gold they earn on reinforcements and upgrades. The first purchase starts the countdown. Every tower fires automatically.
Choose Patrol, Siege or Last stand before buying. Survive the captain in wave five to win; keep all fifteen gate lives for Gold. All placement uses the keyboard or command deck. The game window shows the battle; it does not accept clicks.
First moves
Start with an Arrow tower and a Cannon near a bend. Longer coverage earns more shots.
Cannons ignore armor; Frost gives nearby towers more time to fire.
C to change the road and L to change difficulty before buying. N to play again.
Call a waiting wave early with E for a small gold bonus.
Run and score
Upgrades cost $25 then $50. Selling returns 70% of the total spent. Kills earn $8, or $40 for the captain. Clearing a wave earns $30 plus $10 if nothing escaped. Early waves earn $1 per countdown second, up to $8. Gold requires 15 lives; Silver 8 or more; Bronze a surviving gate.
Write your own approach
Launch packetguard --script, then run ./defense-v3.sh. Copy it to a new file before editing. The same commands drive manual and programmed play.
Type script to open the saved-script workspace, or launch with --script. Copy the supplied starter with cp, edit it with nano, then use chmod +x to make your copy executable. Run it with ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects a repeatable layout; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels a running script. gif and receipt export local practice evidence. Your saved files survive re-entry. These runs do not submit ranked scores.
