Sidepocket

Break the rack, claim solids or stripes with the first legal pot, then clear your group before pocketing the black eight. Choose angle and power, place the cue before the break or after a foul, and face a local practice rival.

  • Right / D - aim right
  • Up / W - increase power
  • Down / S - decrease power
  • Space - shoot
  • V - toggle cue placement; arrows - move the cue

  • X - suggest a shot
  • P - pause
  • R - resume
  • N - play again

Run and score

The table starts open. The first legal solid or stripe assigns groups, including on the break; mere contact or a foul does not. A legal pot keeps your turn. Clear your entire group before a later shot pockets the eight; an early eight loses the frame. A scratch or wrong first contact gives the incoming player ball in hand. Practice ends after 80 shots. Legal player pots earn 100 points each and winning adds 1,000. This is casual local play against a bot, without called pockets or a global match leaderboard. Friends matches and seeded clearance challenges are future modes.

Write your own approach

Launch with --script or type script to open your saved Bash workspace. Copy policy.sh, edit with nano, run chmod +x on your copy, then execute ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects three repeatable runs; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels. gif, replay and receipt export local practice evidence. Saved files survive re-entry. These games do not submit ranked scores.

Replace the visible shot suggestion with your own geometry and cue-ball position planning.
