Thornhand
Three energy. Five cards. Make a hand count.
Thornhand
Build a deck through six fights in the thorn woods. Each turn gives you three energy to spend. A card's top-right number is its energy cost; the effects are written below its art. Play attacks, shields and combinations before ending your turn. The enemy's next action and predicted damage are visible above your hand.
Use arrows to bring a card forward and Space to play it. On touch screens, tap a rear card to select it, then tap the front card to play. Esc, U or Undo reverses your last card and its effects until you end the turn or accept a reward. Defeat a foe, choose a new card and heal before the next fight.
First moves
Begin with Guard to block the first attack, then spend the remaining energy on attacks.
Each turn refills three energy and draws five cards. End turn with X when ready.
Cost is at top right. Effects are below the art. Read the enemy intent before committing.
Esc or U to undo a played card. Ending the turn or taking a reward commits your choices.
Run and score
There are six fights. A victory earns 100 plus 25 times the fight number; the final victory adds 10 points per remaining health. Rewards add a card and heal 7. Poison deals its current amount when the turn ends, then fades by one. Block expires on your next turn; exhaust removes a card for this fight only.
Write your own approach
Launch with --script or type script to open your saved Bash workspace. Copy policy.sh, edit with nano, run chmod +x on your copy, then execute ./your-file.sh. fixtures selects three repeatable runs; standard returns to manual play. Stop cancels. gif, replay and receipt export local practice evidence. Saved files survive re-entry. These games do not submit ranked scores.
Read enemy intent and combine cards instead of playing the first affordable one.
