Ways to get involved
Start with the relationship that fits. You can change direction in the inquiry form.
Open opportunities
Specialists welcome
We may engage people full-time, part-time, on contract, for one-off projects, or as guest contributors. The shape of the relationship should fit the work.
ContractCertified playtester
Join the candidate pool for future small, invited testing cohorts. Applying is an expression of interest, not acceptance into a cohort or authorization for paid testing.
Read the full brief
Cohort 4 is complete. Its CTF-to-Range scope, dates, compensation, and verification minimums are retained in the terms as a historical cohort archive; they do not apply to the next cohort. Applications remain available for future consideration. Before any paid testing, a selected applicant must receive and affirmatively accept a cohort-specific offer that states the exact schedule, scope, compensation, activity minimums, and response deadline. A non-response means the applicant is not enrolled in that cohort.
CompensationSet separately for each future cohort. Applying to the candidate pool does not promise selection, dates, work, or payment. Certification and affirmative acceptance of that cohort's exact offer are required before compensated testing.
ContractLinux & security technical reviewer
Audit terminal-native security training for technical accuracy: commands, system behavior, vulnerabilities, evidence, scope, and remediation.
Read the full brief
Review versioned CLI-Games course material and independent assessment prototypes through a protected workbench. Trace claims to real Linux and security behavior, inspect answer material and validation evidence, record reproducible findings, and distinguish acceptable simulation from a misleading simplification. This is a review of the program itself, not the rating of individual learners.
CompensationNegotiable, based on experience, scope, and quality of analysis.
ContractInstructional-design & pedagogy reviewer
Audit whether our course sequence, practice, feedback, accessibility, and transfer demands help learners build durable skill.
Read the full brief
Review versioned course outcomes, prerequisites, explanations, practice, checkpoints, feedback, cognitive load, accessibility, and the route from guided work to independent performance. Record findings in a protected course-auditor workbench and help define evidence-backed revisions. Deep instructional-design experience is essential; cybersecurity familiarity is useful but this role is deliberately distinct from technical fact-checking.
CompensationNegotiable, based on experience, scope, and quality of analysis.
The opportunity
The pieces already work together
A player can move from a familiar game to Linux training, a live Range challenge, and a network of other players today. The next work is concrete: improve retention, finish credible learning paths, expand the worlds, and find repeatable distribution. Capital would fund product, content, infrastructure, security, and partnerships without flattening the terminal identity that makes the platform worth building.
